Current Employment Opportunity:
Position: Airside Escort Duties
Location: Calgary International Airport
Training dates: one week of classroom training will be required and will take place between March 15th and April 30th, 2012.
Dates of employment: may 1, 2012 to October 31, 2012 (with a possibility of extension). Rate of pay while on job-site: $18.26/hr.
Approximately 40 hours per week. Must be willing to work any day of the week, starting at any time.
Employment requirements:
- English fluency (must meet level 5 of Canadian language benchmark)
- Must possess an Alberta class 5 drivers license
- Must possess safety boots and safety glasses
- Must be able to attain both a transportation Canada security clearance and an industry Canada restricted operator radio permit
- Must successfully complete training and qualify for an airside vehicle operators permit (avop)
Assets:
- Alberta individual security license (applicants possessing this license will be given hiring preference)
- Alberta class 1,2,4 or class 5 drivers license
- Restricted area identification card - red pass
