Home Checks
Knowing your home is safe when away grants you peace of mind, and securing a Home Check service from the Commissionaires can also help your insurance rates too!
Commissionaire’s Home Check Service began close to ten years ago and sees our Commissionaires visit your residence and physically secure the outer perimeter. Inside, Commissionaires will take in your mail, check the plumbing and furnace and ensure the household is secure.
Our Home Check service can be customized for each client – including frequency of visits, time of visits, and length of contract. Each visit usually takes close to 20 minutes, depending on the size of your residence and property, and if anything is awry, the Commissionaire on duty will contact your emergency in-city contact and the local police force if necessary.

Many residents choose to use this service when they are out of town for an extended period of time.
Commissionaires Southern Alberta can offer a 15 per cent discount to clients who have AMA as an Insurance Provider.
