US Waiver of Inadmissibility
The possession of a Canadian passport DOES NOT necessarily guarantee free travel to the US. An individual with a criminal conviction may require a Visa Waiver of Inadmissibility. Commissionaires Southern Alberta can complete these waivers at a competitive cost.
The process takes about the same amount of time as a Canadian Pardon application and our consultants can guide you through the procedure. Similar to pardons, the Visa Waiver of Inadmissibility is a maze of paperwork and fine print that our consultants can aid with.

Visa waivers are only good for 1 year – and with a 5 month waiting period, we suggest applying for next year as soon as you receive the current year.

CPIC - Canadian Police Information Centre
Many companies today require confirmation of an “already determined” good character for prospective employees. Commissionaires Southern Alberta criminal background checks (eCPIC) are completed using an all electronic, secure process connected to the RCMP Central Police Information Center. The Commissionaires eCPIC process is normally completed within 24 hours.
The CPIC is completed using your name and date of birth. Prior to processing fingerprints two pieces of government issued identification are required (one with a photo) — a drivers license is usually the most convenient. The second identification may include:
•Birth Certificate
•Passport
•Marriage License
•Aboriginal Status card
•Possession and Acquisition License
•Military ID
